Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- experience in housekeeping and laundry services
- ability to work with seniors
- ability to follow safety and infection control procedures
- ability to maintain privacy and respect resident dignity
- ability to work as part of a team
- ability to adhere to training and compliance requirements
- willingness to complete pre-employment drug test tuberculosis test physical exam and background check
- covid-19 and influenza vaccination if mandated by law
Job Qualifications

- experience providing housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment preferred
- desire to work with seniors
- good judgment problem solving and decision-making skills
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- competence in organizational and time management
- ability to work semi-independently and follow procedures
- ability to handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
Job Duties
- perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites public areas and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- clean according to schedule in assigned areas including floors fixtures furniture and windowsills
- maintain privacy by knocking before entering resident or public restroom areas
- maintain equipment and supplies clean and orderly
- transport clean and soiled linens to appropriate areas
- collect trash and maintain trash receptacles sanitary
- sort wash dry fold and redistribute linens following approved procedures
- inspect linens for damage and follow standard operating procedures for replacement
- maintain commercial laundry cleanliness and order
- assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care as needed
- practice positive resident relations and respond to feedback
- document resident changes in Daily Log
- ensure safe storage of cleaning chemicals and hazard-free work areas
- comply with safety and infection control protocols including PPE and SDS
- participate in team engagement programs and training
- attend regular meetings and maintain compliance with required training
- perform other duties as assigned
