Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of housekeeping experience preferably in a hospital or inpatient facility

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, patient care units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner
- Wash windows, walls, floors, beds, furniture upon patient discharge
- Apply clean linen on disinfected patient bed
- Report any furniture, fixtures, building, equipment repairs required to Housekeeping Supervisor
- Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
- Use and maintain equipment properly
- Report safety hazards as appropriate
- Transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area
