Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- housekeeping experience highly desired
- ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time
- ability to work well with others as part of a team
- polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management team
- must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push and pull for extended periods of time
- must be able to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet
- must wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene
- must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Clean common living areas and resident apartments
- oversee cleaning of the entire facility
- complete maintenance request reports when needed
- report deterioration or damage to supervisor
- operate laundry equipment when needed
- report supply inadequacies to supervisor
- use only approved cleaning products
- clean office areas when assigned
- dust and clean window blinds
- dust all furniture and bookshelves
- vacuum common areas and apartments
- keep common areas and resident bathrooms clean
- clean apartments at resident move-out
- attend in-services and staff meetings
- maintain resident privacy and confidentiality
- follow policy on resident information release
- perform other duties as assigned
