Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- one year of housekeeping experience
- physically able to perform duties including walking, twisting, bending, pushing, and kneeling
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, chemicals, and equipment
- knowledge of floor and carpet care including refinishing, scrubbing, burnishing, polishing, shampooing, and extraction
- ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment such as Bobcat, forklift, snow blowers, plows
- ability to drive university vehicles
- valid state-issued driver’s license preferred
- respirator fit testing may be required

Job Duties
- Clean, monitor, and replenish restrooms daily including disinfecting basins, urinals, and toilet bowls and mopping floors
- replenish dispensers and report damaged or malfunctioning units
- remove trash and recycle as needed
- perform periodic cleaning such as vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floors
- dust office furniture, vents, corridors, and staircases
- remove snow using shovels and power equipment
- set up tables and chairs for functions
- move furniture as required
- operate motor vehicle to transport garbage
- perform other work-related duties as assigned
