Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services meeting quality standards
- desire to work with seniors
- must comply with safety and regulatory compliance including understanding driver responsibilities if driving a Sunrise vehicle
- able to pass pre-employment drug, tuberculosis, and physical evaluation tests
- background check clearance
- COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations if mandated by law
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
- perform cleaning duties on a schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming floors and rugs
- clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- dust and clean furniture, lamps, glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills
- respect residents' privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- transport and manage clean and soiled linen
- collect and remove trash maintaining receptacles in a clean manner
- sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens according to procedures
- inspect linens for wear and damage
- maintain cleanliness and order in laundry facilities
- assist Care Managers with resident care when requested
- practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- document resident information via Daily Log
- ensure safe storage and handling of cleaning chemicals
- keep work areas free of hazards and comply with safety regulations
- participate in team meetings and training
- maintain compliance with all required training
- perform other duties as assigned
