- High school diploma or GED preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- desire to work with seniors

- able to lift and move laundry and equipment safely

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming floors, rugs, and carpets
- clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- dust, wash, sponge mop, sanitize and hand shampoo furniture, dust desk and floor lamps, clean and polish glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills
- knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering to respect privacy
- maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to storage and collection areas
- collect trash and maintain trash receptacles in sanitary manner
- collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and tear and follow procedures for damaged linens
- maintain commercial laundry area clean and orderly
- assist care managers with resident care when requested
- practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- review and note daily logs for resident physical and behavioral changes
- ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked when not in use
- maintain hazard-free environment complying with fire codes
- promote risk management programs and adhere to safety rules
- practice safety procedures including PPE and SDS compliance
- maintain equipment and prevent accidents
- comply with infection control techniques and bio-hazard procedures
- participate as team member and commit to team goals
- demonstrate team member credo
- commit to serving residents through principles of service
- contribute to engagement programs and surveys
- attend regular meetings and training
- perform other duties as assigned
