Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- experience providing housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- ability to follow established cleaning and laundry protocols
- strong interpersonal skills for resident interaction
- commitment to safety and infection control practices
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- comply with required health screenings including drug test, tuberculosis test, and physical evaluation
- vaccination compliance as mandated by law
- reliable attendance and punctuality.

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- respect residents' privacy by knocking before entering their suites and public restrooms
- maintain equipment and supplies in an orderly condition
- transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to storage and collection areas
- collect and remove trash while maintaining trash receptacles clean and sanitary
- collect, clean, sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and redistribute community laundry following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and damage and handle according to procedural guidelines
- maintain cleanliness and order in commercial laundry areas
- assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care as requested
- practice positive resident relations responding to requests and feedback appropriately
- review and document resident information and physical or behavioral changes
- ensure safe storage of cleaning chemicals and removal of hazards
- comply with occupational health and safety regulations and safety procedures including use of PPE
- maintain equipment and supplies to prevent accidents and waste
- comply with infection control policies
- participate in team engagement activities and meetings
- commit to ongoing training and adherence to community procedures
- perform other duties as assigned.
