Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- desire to work with seniors
- ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- ability to follow safety procedures and infection control techniques
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- pass mandatory drug test and background check
- comply with vaccination requirements if applicable
- willingness to work flexible hours and weekends

Job Duties
- perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites public areas and support areas as assigned
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping dusting mopping vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms common areas and offices
- knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering to respect privacy
- maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas
- collect trash and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas in clean condition
- collect clean laundry sort wash dry fold count and stack linens following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and tear and follow procedures for damaged linens
- maintain commercial laundry in a clean and sanitary condition
- assist care managers and department coordinators with resident care when requested
- practice positive resident relations and respond to or escalate resident requests
- review and document resident information in daily logs
- ensure cleaning chemicals are safely stored and locked
- keep equipment and hazards out of the way and comply with fire codes
- promote occupational health and safety compliance and risk management policies
- practice safety procedures including use of PPE and adherence to infection control techniques
- participate in team engagement activities and maintain compliance with required training
- attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned
