Job Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred
- prior hard surface floor care a plus but not required
- valid Florida Driver's license
- ability to lift and carry 25 to 45 pounds
- ability to work flexible schedule
- good physical and mental health
- ability to move continuously during work hours
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills
- verbal and written communication skills
- ability to maintain effective working relationships
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning solvents and equipment
- valid Florida Driver's license
Job Duties
- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuums
- maintain facility cleanliness through washing and replacement of equipment
- clean human waste and bodily fluids as required
- dispose of trash, waste, and disposable materials
- handle cleaning solvents and chemicals safely
- follow job assignments diligently
- damp dust furniture and fixtures
- empty trash containers daily
- wet mop floors in all rooms and bathrooms
- clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes, and showers
- clean all air vents
- report repair needs to supervisor
- wash windows as scheduled
- check area periodically for spills and water
- follow germicidal solution instructions
- perform other duties as assigned
