Job Duties
- Respond promptly to guest and department requests
- fill and transport supply carts to assigned areas
- enter guest rooms following access procedures
- replace guest amenities and supplies
- replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
- clean bathrooms thoroughly
- remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
- check that all appliances are present and functional
- straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
- dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
- follow all company safety and security policies
- report maintenance problems and safety hazards
- complete safety training and certifications
- properly store flammable materials
- maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
- support team goals
- move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and heavier with assistance
- push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over various surfaces
- perform physical tasks involving bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
