Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
  • physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • strong communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • reliability and punctuality
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to clean a minimum of 13 rooms in 8 hours shift
  • ability to stand or walk for 8 consecutive hours
  • ability to safely lift 40 plus lbs
  • ability to communicate effectively with leadership
  • experience with physical work involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, carrying and lifting

Job Duties

  • Ensure that the standards of excellence for guestrooms cleanliness are followed
  • attend all the daily line-up meetings in the housekeeping office
  • report anomalies in the guestrooms to supervisor or dispatcher
  • keep the service areas and closets clean at all times
  • maintain the maids cart organized at all times
  • make the bed following the steps specified in the training manual
  • clean the bathroom following the steps specified in the training manual
  • dust the room and replace all the amenities throughout the room
  • vacuum the room thoroughly
  • follow all service standards specified in the Housekeeping Standards
  • report and turn in any Lost and Found items from the guestroom or hallways
  • anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly to any requests and acknowledge all guests all the time
