Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- strong communication skills
- attention to detail
- reliability and punctuality
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to clean a minimum of 13 rooms in 8 hours shift
- ability to stand or walk for 8 consecutive hours
- ability to safely lift 40 plus lbs
- ability to communicate effectively with leadership
- experience with physical work involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, carrying and lifting
Job Duties
- Ensure that the standards of excellence for guestrooms cleanliness are followed
- attend all the daily line-up meetings in the housekeeping office
- report anomalies in the guestrooms to supervisor or dispatcher
- keep the service areas and closets clean at all times
- maintain the maids cart organized at all times
- make the bed following the steps specified in the training manual
- clean the bathroom following the steps specified in the training manual
- dust the room and replace all the amenities throughout the room
- vacuum the room thoroughly
- follow all service standards specified in the Housekeeping Standards
- report and turn in any Lost and Found items from the guestroom or hallways
- anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly to any requests and acknowledge all guests all the time
