Job Duties
- Responsible for knowing and observing relevant fire and safety regulations as well as practicing infection control policies and procedures
- Assist in facility emergencies such as cleaning carpets after floods and preparing for special events including set-up and clean up
- Keep assigned areas clean to meet Eisenhower Center standards
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures regarding chemical usage and infection control
- Assist with special cleaning assignments including cleaning windows, light fixtures, and floor cleaning
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned duties and scheduled breaks
- Clean all client rooms, baths, showers, staff offices, therapy rooms, and public areas daily
- Clean floors, shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean woodwork
- Polish furniture in common areas and door plates
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Food Service, and Rehab staff to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
