Job Duties

  • Responsible for knowing and observing relevant fire and safety regulations as well as practicing infection control policies and procedures
  • Assist in facility emergencies such as cleaning carpets after floods and preparing for special events including set-up and clean up
  • Keep assigned areas clean to meet Eisenhower Center standards
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures regarding chemical usage and infection control
  • Assist with special cleaning assignments including cleaning windows, light fixtures, and floor cleaning
  • Manage time effectively to complete assigned duties and scheduled breaks
  • Clean all client rooms, baths, showers, staff offices, therapy rooms, and public areas daily
  • Clean floors, shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean woodwork
  • Polish furniture in common areas and door plates
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Food Service, and Rehab staff to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
