Our client is a private residence located in San Antonio, Texas, seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household staff. This establishment offers a full-time, hourly position with a well-structured schedule from Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with availability required on weekends as needed. Job Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and collaborate in a team-based environment
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and proper use of cleaning agents
  • Must be able to speak English effectively
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and turning.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for laundry management, including washing, drying, folding, ironing and sorting linen
  • Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Sweep and mop hard floors
  • Restock toiletry supplies, clean linens, and other supplies
  • Maintain clean and sanitary bathrooms
  • Tidy up rooms
  • Keep indoor/outdoor facilities and common areas clean and maintained
  • Clean mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces
  • Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies, ordering more as needed
  • Collect and remove trash and debris
  • Report any necessary repairs or replacements
  • Collaborate with team of housekeepers and other household staff members
  • Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests
  • Other related duties, as assigned.
