Job Requirements

  • valid Texas Driver's License required
  • previous experience as a housekeeper or janitorial position
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to prioritize work organize tasks and handle all with a strong sense of urgency
  • general knowledge of computers and email
  • ability to work both indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions
  • physical ability to lift push pull or carry up to 50 pounds
  • capability to use cleaning tools and chemicals safely
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • work with Community Manager to ensure that organizational goals are achieved while adhering to DMA community standards
  • collaborate with maintenance staff to meet quality standards for the entire community including all commons areas vacant and model units
  • report all safety hazards to the Community Manager immediately
  • clean all vacant units monthly
  • clean model units weekly
  • track all supplies notifying the Community Manager when inventory is low
  • work with Community Manager to repair or order cleaning equipment
  • perform other duties as assigned
