Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Previous experience in institutional cleaning preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive duties
- Ability to stand, climb, stoop, walk, and lift for long periods
- Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment
- Willingness to work in specialized hospital areas
- Ability to handle exposure to hazardous and infectious materials

Job Duties
- Perform cleaning functions in the assigned area
- Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition of the hospital
- Operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuum cleaners
- Perform a variety of duties including dry and wet mopping, waste removal, wall and window washing, and floor care procedures
- Work in specialized areas such as Surgery, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Isolation Rooms, or Intensive Care Units
- Adapt to changing priorities and respond to emergencies
- Ensure neat and clean personal appearance at all times
