Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in housekeeping or laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Capability to maintain equipment and supplies
- Ability to comply with community policies and regulations
- Valid driver certification if driving a Sunrise vehicle

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms and waiting for approval
- Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linens to appropriate areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles in a sanitary manner
- Manage laundry functions including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and inspecting linens according to approved procedures
- Assist Care Managers with resident care upon request
- Respond to resident requests and feedback positively
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment
- Participate in team meetings, training, and community engagement activities
- Maintain compliance with all required training and regulatory standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
