Job Requirements
- at least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- able to work twelve hours per day for seven days a week
- available for up to twenty-eight weeks
- able to meet moderate physical demands
- able to pass pre-employment drug test
- willing to comply with grooming standards
- prohibited from alcohol consumption onboard
- able to complete safety and emergency training

Job Qualifications
- must be at least eighteen 18 years of age
- must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- able to pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
- willing to comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- able to strictly prohibit alcohol consumption onboard
- able to participate in emergency and safety training
- successful individuals work well under pressure, keep composure and have a positive attitude
Job Duties
- responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for our guests
- prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to American Cruise Lines' service standards
- vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
- collecting and disposing of trash
- properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- creating genuine relationships with our guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
- greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events including afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
