Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED or 1 year of previous job experience in lieu of HS diploma or GED
- at least one year of housekeeping duties experience preferred
- ability to follow established safety procedures
- capability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment
- willingness to work in a resident care environment with exposure to potential unpleasant odors and infectious materials
- ability to handle physically demanding tasks
- commitment to upholding resident dignity and facility policies
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- maintain a safe, clean, sanitary and comfortable environment
- promote and support a resident centered care environment with kindness, respect, and dignity
- adhere to all facility and department work rules, policies and procedures
- ensure that resident rooms and public areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner
- follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies
- follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants and solutions used for cleaning
- use appropriate personal protective equipment and supplies when handling infectious materials
