Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning protocols
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus

Job Duties
- Cleans and polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating and cooling units in residents’ rooms and community areas as instructed
- Cleans, washes, sanitizes and polishes bathroom fixtures, ensuring all water marks are removed
- Cleans floors by sweeping, dusting, damp or wet mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting, using caution and safety signs
- Cleans carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting as instructed
- Cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing
- Removes dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions
- Cleans hallways as necessary or instructed
- Disposes of waste and trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners
