Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well under stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Effective at listening, understanding, clarifying and resolving concerns
  • Must be able to convey information clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift
  • Ability to clock in/out for breaks as scheduled
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay
  • Use guests' names to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology for the role
  • Answer phone calls with friendly service and approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests with a smile while cleaning
  • Complete operational checklists accurately and on schedule
  • Submit accurate shift handover reports for smooth communication
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with team members
  • Demonstrate willingness to meet business and guest needs beyond traditional role
  • Collaborate with team to create welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Stock room supplies and tools pre-cleaning
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms
  • Perform deep cleaning and additional cleaning projects as assigned
