Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months experience in housekeeping or hospitality
- current First Aid or other safety certifications as required by the Club
- ability to communicate effectively with team members about job tasks and responsibilities
- desire to contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude with team members and the public
- must demonstrate initiative with an ability to think work solve practical problems and make independent decisions based on sound judgment
- must have good time management organizational and follow-up skills
- must be able to consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail accuracy and timeliness
- must be able to pay attention to multiple details and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
- flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends with limited travel required
- valid driver’s license may be required

Job Duties
- Inspect and clean all Club buildings on a daily schedule according to BlueStar standards and procedures
- clean all facilities as assigned including floors carpets walls ledges pictures mirrors furniture fixtures and equipment
- empty garbage containers
- assist Maintenance Department in completing duties as assigned
- maintain an infection-free facility by thorough washing cleaning and replacing equipment and furnishings
- report repairs or need for replacements to the facility maintenance manager and follow up to assure repair meets facility standards
- work in a safe manner using all personal protective equipment assigned and report unsafe conditions or accidents to a supervisor
- comply with all rules and regulations including OSHA EPA and state Health Department for using cleaning products and chemicals
- assist with set up and tear down for Club events
- other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
