Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Capacity for prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel and crouch
- Manual dexterity
- Visual acuity for cleaning tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous institutional housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning duties in all hospital areas including patient rooms, hallways, offices, and public spaces
- Follow established procedures to maintain sanitation and cleanliness
- Handle waste disposal and ensure proper removal of trash
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain housekeeping equipment
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned
- Collaborate with hospital staff to meet cleanliness standards
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
