Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience and or training in housekeeping
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and follow process and controls
  • and able to read and understand label instructions
  • Knowledge of handling cleaning products
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining client rooms to include stripping and making beds
  • Ensure that cleaning closets are properly stocked with supplies and equipment and properly secured and locked when not in use
  • Responsible for removing trash, mop, vacuum, dust and polishing of furniture
  • Have knowledge of and follow procedures for proper handling of bodily fluids
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the facility
  • Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipment
  • Check under furniture for debris
  • reposition furniture to correct floor plan
  • Take daily inventory and inspect the condition of all furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages to supervisor
