Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged equivalent
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • ability to perform essential job functions including visual acuity and effective communication
  • commitment to the mission, vision, values, and social principles of the employer
  • ability to work specified hours including day shift
  • ability to meet physical requirements of the job
  • willingness to maintain confidentiality
  • compliance with safety laws and regulations associated with cms, the joint commission, dhhs, and osha

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • maintains a clean/neat environment in working area
  • maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
  • participate in all assigned cleaning activities
  • perform dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, furniture extraction, curtain replacement, moving furniture, trash receptacles and trash removal
  • keep assigned areas fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, linen, and other essential materials
  • maintain stock on individual cleaning carts, linen carts, and supply carts including wet and dry supplies
