Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services meeting quality standards
  • Desire to work with seniors
  • Ability to comply with safety protocols and infection control
  • Must pass drug test and pre-employment health screenings
  • Ability to work in compliance with community procedures
  • Willingness to attend training and team meetings

  • Willingness to participate in required training and team activities

Job Duties

  • Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
  • Clean according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and polishing
  • Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
  • Transport supplies including clean and soiled linens
  • Collect and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and inspect linens following approved procedures
  • Assist Care Managers with resident care as requested
  • Respond to resident requests and maintain positive relations
  • Adhere to safety protocols including chemical storage and hazard prevention
  • Participate in team meetings and complete required training
  • Maintain compliance with infection control and safety procedures
