Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to perform essential job functions including visual acuity and effective communication

Job Duties
- Maintains a clean neat environment in working area
- cleans patient rooms terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
- participates in all cleaning activities as assigned including dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, furniture extraction, curtain replacement, moving furniture, trash receptacles and trash removal
- keeps assigned areas fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, linen, and other essentials
- maintains stock on cleaning carts, linen carts, supply carts including wet and dry supplies
- coordinates work flow with other team members to ensure productivity and efficiency
- complies with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA
