Job Requirements

- ability to perform physical duties associated with housekeeping and laundry
- reliable and punctual
- as applicable, review and sign driver job description for safety and compliance if driving a Sunrise vehicle

Job Duties
- perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming floors and rugs, cleaning and sanitizing lavatories and fixtures
- respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- collect and transport supplies and linens
- manage trash receptacles and collection areas
- collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and tear and handle damaged linens per procedures
- assist care managers with resident care as requested
- practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- maintain safety and risk management standards including proper storage of cleaning chemicals and ensuring no hazards block exits
- comply with infection control procedures
- participate in team engagement programs and training
- attend regular meetings and maintain required training compliance
- perform other duties as assigned
