Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred
- Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Authorization to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred
- Personal passion or interest in substance abuse recovery strongly preferred
- Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Authorization to work in the US is required
Job Duties
- Interact with residents daily in a respectful and cooperative manner
- Perform routine cleaning procedures throughout the facility according to policy
- Clean kitchen and dining areas
- Follow all waste disposal procedures as outlined by facility policy
- Dispense and stock housekeeping supplies (soap, paper products, etc.)
- Care for and use housekeeping equipment properly
- report malfunctions
- Report areas needing repair or maintenance
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Observe infection control procedures and patient rights policies
- Attend required in-service training programs
- Identify and report safety hazards or emergencies
- Demonstrate dependability by arriving on time and working scheduled shifts
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Accept feedback and guidance with a willingness to improve
- Complete other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Executive Director
