Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year experience in similar environment preferred
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and understand cleaning chemicals
- ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- reliable and detail-oriented
- ability to work full-time including alternating weekends
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in a similar environment such as a senior living community, nursing home or any healthcare field preferred
- able to operate cleaning equipment including iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, and vacuums and have an understanding on cleaning chemicals and products required
- must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job required
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights
- cleans public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios and windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
- sweep and vacuum all assigned areas
- performs all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor
- clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas
