Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals safely
- Successful completion of hospital orientation and training
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Must comply with hospital vaccination requirements
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols

Job Duties
- Daily cleaning and filling supplies in patient rooms, nurses stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices
- Isolation cleaning of patient rooms
- Discharge cleaning of patient rooms
- Use cleaning devices including housekeeper cart, germicidal disinfectant chemicals, high dusters, microfiber mops, ladders, vacuum, mini extractor, Xenex robot
- Assist in cleaning of emergency spill
- Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report repairs
- Observe and report the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures
- Perform duties as assigned in case of emergencies
