Job Requirements

  • Must have experience in hospitality, service, or consumer-facing role preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to follow guidelines and procedures

  • Must have desire to serve guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time, clock out at scheduled shift end
  • Must clock in/out for breaks on schedule
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out from scheduled shift
  • Must be able to perform physical demands of stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting household items
  • Must be able to perform essential functions satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Desire to serve and satisfy all guests
  • Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain appearance standards including wearing uniform and nametag
  • Understanding of hotel operations and service standards

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology effectively for the role
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • Keep all work areas clean and well-organized
  • Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests hospitably while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear approved uniform cleanly and be well-groomed according to handbook
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Show willingness to stretch beyond traditional role to meet business needs
  • Collaborate effectively to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and attending meetings
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms each shift
  • Perform additional cleaning projects in storage, public spaces, laundry, and deep cleaning as assigned
