Job Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years of age
- be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- be willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- pass a pre-employment drug test including for marijuana and other controlled substances
- abstain from alcohol consumption while onboard
- comply with emergency and safety training
- adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- accept temporary employment status not exceeding 28 weeks

Job Duties
- Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
- prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- acknowledging guests by name and kindly taking action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to American Cruise Lines’ service standards
- vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
- collecting and disposing of trash
- properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
- performing additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events including afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
