Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work Monday through Friday
- must be warm, respectful, detail oriented, and passionate about working with older adults
- ability to follow infection control procedures
- physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks including lifting and moving up to 25 pounds
- willingness to attend in-service training sessions
Job Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively
- previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- ability to lift/move 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as resident rooms, restrooms, beauty shop, offices, and all common areas
- assist in thorough cleaning of resident rooms
- accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
- follow approved infection control procedures
- maintain all equipment and supplies in proper order
- complete/attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned
- perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- maintain resident confidentiality
