- high school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment meeting quality standards
- desire to work with seniors

- willingness to adhere to team and community guidelines
- readiness to participate in training and development activities

Job Duties
- perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites public areas and support areas as assigned
- perform cleaning duties in assigned areas including sweeping dusting dust mopping wet mopping vacuuming and sanitizing fixtures
- knock on residents doors before entering respecting their privacy
- maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- transport supplies including linens
- collect and remove trash maintaining cleanliness of receptacles
- collect clean and redistribute community laundry
- sort wash dry fold and stack linens following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and damage and follow procedure for damaged linens
- maintain commercial laundry cleanliness and sanitation
- assist care managers and coordinators with resident care when requested
- practice positive resident relations responding to requests and directing feedback
- review and document daily logs for resident information
- ensure storage and locking of cleaning chemicals
- maintain hazard-free environment complying with fire codes
- ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- practice safety procedures including proper use of PPE
- avoid waste and damage of equipment and areas
- comply with infection control techniques and policies
- participate as a team member working toward goals
- demonstrate team member credo in interactions
- serve residents through principles of service
- contribute to engagement programs and attend regular meetings
- maintain compliance in required training
- perform other assigned duties
