Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work the specified hours including every other weekend and holidays
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
  • Effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
  • Participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
  • Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper
  • Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
  • Maintains good customer relations at all times
  • May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
