Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
- physical fitness to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing or walking for extended periods
- pass pre-employment drug screening including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
- adherence to company grooming standards
- no consumption of alcohol while on board
- legal authorization to work in the U.S. (citizen or green card holder)
- willingness to comply with emergency and safety training
- temporary employment for 28 weeks
Job Qualifications
- must be at least eighteen years of age

- willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- strong interpersonal skills to create genuine relationships with guests and crew
- basic knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning methods
- commitment to company grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- able to comply with pre-employment drug testing requirements
- able to participate in emergency and safety functions on board
Job Duties
- creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
- prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- acknowledging guests by name and responding kindly to housekeeping-related inquiries and requests
- vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of maintenance needs
- properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- collecting and disposing of trash
- creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests efficiently
- greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting with special events such as afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
- assisting with other duties as assigned
