Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Capability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to adhere to community safety and health protocols
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
- COVID-19 vaccination encouraged but not required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Sensitivity to working with a senior population
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Clean residents' rooms and common areas according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all community areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Support infection control protocols including sanitization and proper disposal of waste
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a welcoming and safe environment
- Assist in stocking and organizing cleaning supplies
- Uphold Wake Robin’s values of respect, dignity, and appreciation in all interactions
