Job Requirements

  • Must have experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive can-do attitude and be willing to learn
  • Must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must be able to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations
  • Must be able to listen effectively, resolve conflicts, and communicate clearly
  • Must have a strong desire to serve all guests with hospitality
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled times
  • Must clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a shift
  • Must be able to perform physical demands including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting housekeeping items such as linens and vacuums

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed
  • Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Understand and use relevant technology for the role
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests with a smile and by name while cleaning
  • Complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform while well-groomed and smiling
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Display a can-do attitude and willingness to support beyond traditional roles
  • Work collaboratively with all team members to create a welcoming environment
  • Complete pre-cleaning duties including stocking supplies and attending meetings
  • Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms during shifts
  • Perform additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas
  • Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards while working
