Job Requirements
- At least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willingness and ability to work 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Consent to pre-employment drug testing including tests for marijuana and controlled substances
- Compliance with grooming standards including limitations on tattoos and piercings
- Adherence to no alcohol consumption while on board
- Temporary employment limited to 28 weeks
- Ability to perform emergency and safety functions onboard
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Willingness to comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Commitment to strict drug-free and alcohol-free policy on board
- Ability to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operation
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Job Duties
- Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
- Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to housekeeping requests efficiently
- Greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
