Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience providing housekeeping and laundry services that meet or exceed quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to manage cleaning equipment and supplies
- Compliance with drug testing and health screenings
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination as mandated by law
- Ability to participate in required training
- If applicable, review and sign Driver job description for safety compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work semi-independently
- Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping floors, and cleaning fixtures
- Respect residents' privacy by knocking before entry
- Maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies and manage trash receptacles and collection areas
- Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry following approved procedures
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Ensure compliance with safety and risk management protocols including proper storage of chemicals and clear hazard-free walkways
- Participate in team engagement activities and attend regular meetings
- Maintain compliance with required training and perform other duties as assigned
