Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to follow cleaning and safety protocols
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus
- experience in customer service is highly desired

Job Duties
- Cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc. in residents' rooms and the community's living/recreational areas as instructed
- cleans, washes, sanitizes and/or polishes bathroom fixtures and ensures that all water marks are removed from fixtures
- cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting as instructed and sets up caution/safety signs prior to cleaning
- cleans carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting as instructed
- cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing as instructed
- removes dirt, dust, grease, film etc. from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
- cleans hallways as necessary or instructed
- disposes of waste/trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners
