Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and lift/move equipment as required

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the Community as a whole and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas such as the main entryway, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, clean and check heat system filters, change beds and linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattresses with assistance, and empty waste baskets
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests at each table with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, and soups or salads from the cart
- Review the meal menu courteously and clearly, take resident orders, and serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to kitchen and assist with storage of perishable items, deliver trays to resident rooms as needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning the coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
