Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Patient, tactful, and flexible when dealing with residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, physicians, staff members and the general public
- Willingness to perform a variety of repetitive tasks
- Adherence to the Touchmark Gold Standards of behavior and performance, including excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends
- Ability to respond as a first responder in emergency situations after training
- Willingness to participate in CPR/First Aid certification training

Job Duties
- Ability to operate all necessary equipment to perform essential functions of the position
- Ensure residents homes, guest rooms, and common areas are cleaned in accordance with the established Touchmark Gold Standards
- Notify supervisor or management team if any repairs are needed
- Keep supervisor informed of all changes in equipment performance and of the need for supplies
- Maintain a clean environment and a healthy atmosphere for residents, guests, and team members
- Serve as a first responder in emergency situations after training in CPR and First Aid
- Build positive relationships with residents while performing housekeeping duties
