Job Requirements

  • must be at least eighteen years of age
  • must be an american citizen or green card holder
  • must be willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • must be able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • must pass pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and controlled substances
  • must adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • must comply with shipboard safety and emergency training
  • must not consume alcohol onboard during employment

Job Duties

  • creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
  • acknowledging guests by name and handling housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests
  • vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • cleaning up spills and notifying managers of maintenance needs
  • collecting and disposing of trash
  • cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to housekeeping requests efficiently
  • assisting with guest greeting and helping during special events such as afternoon tea and cocktail parties
