Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of six months experience in professional floor care or machinery operation
- ability to speak, read, and understand English
- demonstration of English language proficiency
- willingness to work evening to night shifts
- physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift equipment
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent experience
- minimum of six months experience providing professional floor care or operating machinery
- ability to speak, read, and understand English
- preferred certification from IICRC for Floor Care Technician and Carpet Care Technician
- preferred two years of housekeeping experience in a medical or hospital setting
- ability to follow specific instructions and perform repetitive physical activities
Job Duties
- maintains hard surface and carpeted floor areas throughout the hospital and ancillary buildings
- follows floor cleaning schedules and performs routine maintenance such as cleaning and burnishing
- operates floor cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- performs project cleaning activities including steam cleaning, deep cleanings, and post-construction cleaning
- ensures compliance with hospital cleanliness and safety standards
- assists in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- collaborates with environmental services team to support overall hospital sanitation goals
