Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Required health screening TB clearance and criminal record clearance
- Any special licenses certifications and certificates such as first aid CPR certified
- Special skills needed to meet client needs California Code of Regulations Sections 85065(f)/87411(g)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferably in health care or senior living setting

- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact with residents and staff professionally
- Dependability and punctuality
- Respect for resident privacy and commitment to confidentiality

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms including dusting vacuuming mopping and changing bed linens
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas such as lounges dining areas hallways and restrooms
- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as emptying trash bins cleaning windows and polishing surfaces
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel promptly
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures to maintain a hygienic environment
- Assist in monitoring and replenishing housekeeping supplies including toiletries towels and cleaning products
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
- Uphold the privacy and confidentiality of residents' personal belongings and information
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- May need to move furniture to ensure cleanliness of designated areas
- Support with additional duties as needed
