Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred
  • availability to work Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • strong communication skills
  • commitment to maintaining community standards of cleanliness and safety

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
  • compassionate and respectful attitude towards senior residents

Job Duties

  • Exemplify at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization
  • responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents
  • maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in all housekeeping tasks
  • ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked
  • report maintenance issues and supply needs promptly
  • work collaboratively with other team members and departments to enhance resident satisfaction
  • adhere to all health and safety regulations and community policies
