Job Requirements
- Must be able to read and write the English language
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Some housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess adequate sight and hearing
- Physical capability to move intermittently throughout the workday
- Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift 20 to 50 pounds
- Must meet general health requirements
- Flexibility and personal integrity
- Capable of assisting in resident evacuation during emergencies
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading and writing skills in English
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Some prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to follow regulatory and safety procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization tasks as per guidelines
- Adhere to federal, state, and local cleaning regulations
- Handle waste disposal responsibly
- Maintain safety standards in all housekeeping activities
- Assist with emergency evacuation of residents if necessary
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate authority
