Job Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write the English language
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Some housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position
  • Must possess adequate sight and hearing
  • Physical capability to move intermittently throughout the workday
  • Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift 20 to 50 pounds
  • Must meet general health requirements
  • Flexibility and personal integrity
  • Capable of assisting in resident evacuation during emergencies

Job Qualifications

  • Basic reading and writing skills in English
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Some prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to follow regulatory and safety procedures
  • Effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization tasks as per guidelines
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local cleaning regulations
  • Handle waste disposal responsibly
  • Maintain safety standards in all housekeeping activities
  • Assist with emergency evacuation of residents if necessary
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate authority
