Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment
- desire to work with seniors
- reliable and punctual
- able to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping
- ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
- must pass pre-employment drug test and health screenings
- comply with required vaccinations as mandated
- able to work in a team environment
- willingness to follow all community procedures and guidelines

Job Duties
- perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
- sweep, dust, dust mop, and wet mop all flooring
- spot clean and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and runners
- clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- dust, wash, sponge mop, sanitize and hand shampoo furniture
- knock on resident’s doors before entering and respect their privacy
- maintain equipment and supplies needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition
- collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- sort, wash, and dry linens properly
- fold, count, and stack linens
- inspect linens for wear and tear and follow procedures for damaged linens
- maintain commercial laundry in a clean and sanitary condition
- assist Care Managers with resident care when requested
- respond to resident requests positively
- ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked
- keep hazards out of the way and comply with fire codes
- follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
- participate as a team member towards team goals
- attend training and meetings as required
