Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to respect residents privacy
- Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
- Willingness to participate in required health screenings and drug tests

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, polishing, and spot cleaning
- Knock on residents doors and public restrooms before entering to respect privacy
- Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas clean
- Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens following approved procedures
- Inspect linens for wear and tear and follow procedures for damaged linens
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests and feedback
- Review and document relevant information on Daily Log regarding residents
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked when not in use
- Keep hazards like cords and equipment out of the way and comply with fire codes
- Follow occupational health and safety regulations and adhere to safety rules
- Use personal protective equipment and comply with infection control protocols
- Participate as a team member, attend meetings, and commit to team goals
- Maintain compliance with required training and perform other duties as assigned
